Individual Therapy
Just as trauma arises through lived experiences, effective healing often requires approaches that are experiential and embodied. Individual therapy offers a safe and compassionate space to explore emotional pain, trauma, attachment wounds, life transitions, chronic stress, or patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing. Rather than only talking about experiences, therapy supports you in gently processing and integrating them through supported, embodied awareness.
Our approach is grounded in experiential, mindfulness-based therapies, primarily Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) therapy which work directly with unburdening the parts of you that may be carrying emotional or physical pain, shame, guilt or just feeling lost. We also draw from attachment-informed practices and other experiential therapies when appropriate, such as Schema Therapy, Chair Work, and Psychodrama — to further support insight, emotional regulation, and transformational shifts.
Whether you’re seeking healing, some clarity, emotional balance, or greater self-compassion, therapy can support you in exploring and reconnecting with your authentic Self.
People often come to individual therapy for support with experiences such as:
Anxiety, worry, or persistent overthinking
Depression, low mood, or loss of motivation
Trauma, including complex or developmental trauma
Chronic stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustion
Persistent or unexplained pain and health concerns
Grief, loss, or major life transitions
Shame, low self-esteem, or negative self-beliefs
Relationship, attachment, or family difficulties
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward
Navigating identity, culture, belonging, or meaning
Individual Therapy can be a space to better understand these experiences, to work with them rather than against them, and to gently reconnect with safety, clarity, and build a compass for your inner resources.
